Dry Powder Fire Extinguishers

These extinguishers are suitable for mixed fire risk environments (various flammable materials) and are especially suited for flammable liquids and fires involving flammable gases such as methane, propane, hydrogen, natural gas etc. Our range of fire extinguishers offers a combination of outstanding fire performance and ease of service.

CLASS A - Safe for wood, paper, textiles

CLASS B - Flammable Liquids

CLASS C - Gaseous fires, Live electrical equipment

Carbon Dioxide CO2 Fire Extinguishers

These are suitable for Class B risks involving flammable liquids and for electrical hazards. CO2 is harmless to electrical equipment and is ideal for modern offices, electronic risks, and fires caused by the combustion of liquids such as: oil. fats, solvents, etc. The 5kg size has a 70 B fire rating.

CLASS B - Safe for Flammable Liquids, Live Electrical Equipment

Not safe for wood, paper, textiles. Not to be used within confined spaces

Foam Fire Extinguishers

These extinuishers are ideal where both A & B Class fire risks exist. AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) is particularly suited to Class B fires caused by the combustion of materials that liquify such as petrol, oils, fats, paints, tar etc.

CLASS A - Safe for wood, paper, textiles

CLASS B - Flammable Liquids

Not safe for live electrical equipment or flammable metal fires.

Water Fire Extinguishers

Suitable for Class A fires caused by the combustion of solid raw materials, mainly of organic origin, such as, wood, paper, straw, textiles, coal etc. The 6 litre spray version has passed electrical conductivity tests although should not be used on electrical hazards.

CLASS A - Safe for wood, paper, textiles

Not safe for flammable liquid fires, live electrical equipment or flammable metal fires.

Fire Hose Reels

Suited to large areas or corridors where a 9 litre extinguisher may not provide adequate cover. Often required by fire certificate or insurers.

Annual servicing ensures hose reel works first time, every time and prevents potentially damaging leaks.

Fire Panels and Fire Doors

Fire Action is in the position to supply fire retardant doors and paneling. These preventatives are manufactured to the SABS 1253 specifications and are available in a variety of sizes as well as finishes to match the colour and style of your decor. They are lightweight and much more efficient than the heavy, cumbersome fire doors of the past. We also include approved locking devices to ensure that your internal security is maintained.
